Visiting Little Rock
By courtney | December 31, 2009
If you haven’t heard already, Keith and I visited his folks in Little Rock for Christmas this year. We had a fabulous time with the whole gang, although we have a few choice words about the airline we used. (You should not *AHEM* arrive home 37 hours after your scheduled time, especially without weather or mechanical problems.) Anyway, here are the photos! Be extremely jealous!

Where are we happiest? The kitchen. Therefore, we should take all future couple photos in the kitchen.

The capital building in Arkansas is really quite lovely.

Fancy-schmancy decorations inside. We decided to take the family picture on this snazzy bridge, given that there wasn’t much real snow outside.

The dome tempted us with an apparent gallery at the top. Could we reach it? Off we go!

We kept climbing. Wait… what is that painting that the banner points to? It’s so familiar…

Oh, that’s right: it’s a young William Jefferson Clinton.

By the way, the little rock that Little Rock is named for is somewhere in this picture. Darned if we can find it, though.
While there are no pictures, rest assured that I did get my obligatory cranberry-limeade from Sonic while in the South. (Yummmmmm.) We also saw a fascinating Egypt exhibit at the museum, saw Avatar in 3-D, almost got washed away in torrential downpour, and spent all of Christmas Day in our pajamas! It was wonderful.

We had such a marvelous time. We have put away most of the decorations, but not all yet. Cant bring ourselves to do it. Love you guys.
